We had a wonderful five course meal, the lamb and beef entrée's were excellent. The service was great. The restaurant was almost full but was still quite enough to have a nice conversation with my wife that shared the experience with me.

My wife and I went to 22 Broad every time we were in bethel, and it was always great. The drinks were perfect, the meals delicious. Then, there's this season. 3 times we went, ask 3 times the drinks were watery or poorly mixed. The food was...off. the last time we went for couples dinner we were seated in the... More

We come here every time we ski at Sunday River. This time the experience was not as perfect though still good and we will probably come back. The waiter sort of haunted us when we first sat down then when we wanted to order, he was no where in sight for the longest time, we had to ask someone to get... We like getting off mountain, to avoid crowds and wait times, for dinner. We decided to try 22 Broad Street and loved it. We started with the 4 cheese ravioli, they split a dinner serving so we could have it as an appetizer. The waitress mentioned that one of the cheese would be a blue cheese. I hate blue cheese... Visited 22 Broad for dinner based on the recommendation of our innkeeper. We arrived without a reservation and the place was packed, but the hostess was lovely and set us up at a small table where we could order drinks while we waited for our table. The martinis were enormous, well-crafted and there were dozens to choose from, and our... More

What a nice surprise to find such awesome food in this little village of Bethel! Having been spoiled by the authentic Italian food of the North End of Boston, we can be picky! 22 Broad St did not disappoint! We had the rigatoni al vodka sauce and eggplant lasagna- both were freshly made and piping hot. Ambiance was romantic and... More

The food was delicious, hot and very tasty. Three of us had one of the specials and were not disappointed. Our waiter, Justin, was very accommodating, upbeat and took great care of us. We sat right by the fire and enjoyed the atmosphere of this old house.

We eat out A LOT and this is one of the best Italian restaurants we've ever been to. It's in a beautiful old house complete with tin ceilings and mission style built-ins around the fireplace. Romantic, cozy and well-priced sharable portions. We can personally recommend the chicken picata and beef braciole and Key Lime pie for dessert. Great service. We'll... More

Saw the reviews. Beautiful building. Had high hopes. Ordered extra dry martini...way too much vermouth. My dad liked his Manhattan. Ordered a Caesar to share..way too thick and too much anchovy paste. Chicken parm was so thick and dry, my dad couldn't eat it. I had linguine with clams...six fresh clams and then a plop of canned ones on top.... More

We have a condo at Sunday River and decided to try this restaurant for our anniversary. We made our reservations on line via Trip Advisor which was a first and it was quite easy. It was Christmas week so the place was full. A couple of reviews were critical of the noise but we found it acceptable. There was a... More
