Great lobster dishes. I had baked stuffed fish which came with pieces of lobster in the stuffing for a very reasonable price. My husband had lazy lobster which he really enjoyed. Our waitress was super nice and helpful with the menu. We will definitely be going back very soon. There is also an upstairs room with a bar that looked... More

We were driving when I saw the sign advertising lobster rolls and we turned around and stopped in. It was lunch time and we wanted to try a lobster roll on the advice of our son who had been in Maine a couple of years ago. The decorating was "of course" roosters but nicely done. Our food came and was... More

While on a fall foliage drive on our recent trip to Maine, we happened across Rooster’s Roadhouse at lunchtime.   Upon entering we were greeted by an employee that let us know to seat ourselves, upstairs where there are tv’s (it was Sunday afternoon football time) or in the downstairs dining room.  We chose the downstairs dining room.  The room gave... Visited with friends for drinks and snacks. Appetizers are nothing special and nothing that you can't get in any chain restaurant. Decor was country but uninspired. Servers were friendly but we felt a bit rushed to order even though we were here on an unbusy weeknight out of "season" and there were mostly empty tables.

Happened upon this place by accident and it made our day. Service was good, food was delicious, servings larger than needed. We started with the salad bar and chose the turkey pot pie. I swear it was made 'by Mom', it was so good. Their pumpkin bread with maple butter was the best I have ever eaten. Busy place with... More

The two couples had lunch here and found the food very well prepared and plentiful. It is worth revisiting should we come this way again. The setting is replete with roosters and flowers, a very pleasant place to eat. And the food, standard American, excellent.

My SO and I did a u-turn on our way to another restaurant when we saw how packed this place was. Let me tell you, just go in and don't ask questions. I had the chicken picatta (sub shrimp) and he had the surf and turf with lobster pie. We got the clam chowder as the sides and fried clams... More

Went on a busy Saturday night, and the place was packed.wait staff was good and kept us apprised of delays and food order. Fish was great from the stuffed lobster to the seafood sampler. Would defineity come back to try other seafood dishes.

Today my wife and I traveled from Bangor on our way to Vermont, we were looking for a place to have lunch and pulled into the Rooster's Roadhouse Cafe in Bethel,Me. Right off the bat I noticed the cozy atmosphere with a farm/barn theme. It said seat your self but we were shown a nice table. I noticed there was... More

During our stay in Bethel we ate here twice for dinner. We ate in the pub upstairs where they have a free self serve popcorn station. The food was good the first night, but it was typical pub food (i.e. Burgers). On the second night, my boyfriend had the deconstructed chicken pot pie, which was delicious. I had the steak... More
