I have been here a few times as part of a large group. The staff has taken very good care of us. The food is very good, great appetizers and steak.

Enjoy delicious pan fried haddock and sat at lovely table overlooking the stream. The service was great and we love it there. If I had one comment, it would be that I wish they would include a salad with the meal.

Dear Sue, I'm sorry to hear that you felt our 12 to 18 hour roasted half ducks were "nothing spectacular" though we are indeed renowned for them, and that you suspect our business of "trying to fool savvy diners" (by the fact that we removed...More

My husband and I love the food, and the service is always great. My only problem with the Village Inn is that when there's a wedding there (most Saturday nights), there's a tent blocking the view to the lake. You literally cannot see out the...More

I have been going to the Village in for over 25 years and have seen owners come and go, and changes here and there. I reviewed the restaurant 2 years ago, very happy that it had new owners and appreciating the improvements made. But now...More
