My experience has been the prices are too high and service is average. Part of it is that they cater to an upper middle class, which is fine. It's just not me. I think somewhere along the way they forgot their roots.

we shop here every time we are in Belfast, and love the variety and profusion of organic foods. They have a great deli and a little cafe indoors with tables also outside. Great faux chicken salad!

My wife and I were looking for a healthy breakfast while visiting Belfast and found the Belfast Coop one of the few places offering cooked organic oatmeal. The service was fast and friendly, portions generous, and condiments included raisins, cranberries, brown sugar and cinnamon.

Great burgers! After you eat, walk the aisles for amazing healthy selections. Had to grab granola, wine and local chips for the stay. Very friendly service.

One recent reviewer praised the Co-op's selection of French wines. I agree. but would go further. The Co-op works with Easterly Wines, a Belfast distributor with a fine range of quality, reasonably priced wines from around the globe. I've bought wines from Oregon, Spain, Australia,...More

Were so glad to have stocked up on all types of delectables on our way up to Deer Isle for a week. Stopped in again for picnic goods on our return trip... curried chicken wrap, Cobb salad. And coffee. All great. Happy "service" too.

We'd read about co-op stores so wanted to check one out. We weren't a member so we didn't have as big an advantage. Enjoyed walking around to check out the goods. Our main goal was lunch. I ordered a burger with salt and pepper chips...More

Every morning look for a variety of items to start your day. We serve egg and cheese based breakfast sandwiches and burritos, as well as baked items from local bakeries. We offer a fantastic selection of organic and fair trade coffees from local vendors in a variety of different roasts as well as organic and fair trade teas. Eggs, bagels, breads, gluten free breads, and tofu are all locally laid or made. On weekends the deli offers breakfast from 8:00am to 10:45am. The breakfast menu is an expansion of our breakfast offerings during the week including eggs any way, omelets, home fries, breakfast burritos, huevos rancheros, and a daily breakfast special. All selections are or can be made vegan or gluten-free. In addition to our standing menu, the deli crew is always busy cooking up specials, hot entrees, pizza, burritos, and soups to wow the imagination. Utilizing organic and local vegetables, local breads, clean meats, and natural and organic raw ingredients, the deli strives to offer the healthiest mix of good food around. Have to grab something on the go? No worries...we've got you covered. Choose something from our service or grab n' go cases. These items are meant to be quick, easy, and nutritious. We've got something for everyone and it always hits the spot!
