This restaurant provides good food, and has friendly service. Their dill dip is fantastic, especially when paired with a calzone or sweet potato fries. The sandwiches are good, but nothing fancy. This is a no-frills seafood restaurant with great views of the harbor.

We enjoy eating at Dockside because they always serve delicious meals that are well-prepared and presented. The menu is versatile and prices moderate and above. At lunch, we both tried the open-faced haddock melt that comes with slaw and choice of potato. Not wanting potato, I was given a choice of add-ons like sweet potato fries or onion rings. Still... No matter what your food preferences are, you will find it here. Everything from a sandwich, burger, seafood or Italian, they have it. During the summer months the outside deck is quite popular, but inside it good too. Parking by the front door is always full but if you go down the side street angled to the right you will... More

Dropped in for a lunch on a recent Friday. It was busy as usual but the service was fast and courteous. Even in the winter it was a nice view and lots of folks walking on Maine Street

Hubby and I stopped in for a quick snack, fried clams and onion rings, on our way to Bucksport. Clams were sweet and fried perfectly, onion rings were fresh battered. The view of the bay and service were top notch. Lovely local spot, like all the Maine maps and decor.

We eat here pretty often for lunch. Really excellent service and a classic Maine seafood restaurant, but with a broader menu.

The Dockside Restaurant is located from steps from the Belfast Wharf with great views. The menu is very simple with great lunch items at affordable prices. With limited places to eat lunch in the lower downtown area, this is a good choice.

Love to eat outside on the sunny deck with views of the harbor! Great drinks, beer, delicious onion rings and fries! Lobster rolls, fried shrimp, burgers and salads - they have anything you might be in the mood for. Nice spot to sit and relax!

The fried clams with bellies were excellent, and the fries and coleslaw which were included, fine tasting as well. There were "bottomless" cups of coffee, and the service was friendly and attentive.
