Zen is located across from the Penobscot Theater and every time we go to the theater with friends we eat first at Zen. Never been disappointed! Only downfall is parking. They have about 8 spots the rest is either off street or the bank down the street. But we'll worth the walk. Food is amazing. Something for everyone!

Plenty of seating, very good service, and a small, but very good buffet. Not like the same flavor mega-Chinese buffets, Zen has about 8 choices, with soup, spring rolls, and wings as well. Their fried rice is fantastic- not greasy, not salty, and they always have a curry dish. Pleasant way to gorge oneself on a Tuesday afternoon. I believe... More

We are vegetarians and often seek out the local Thai restaurant for dinner. Zen served delicious food and our server was friendly and efficient.

Very friendly service and great menu. Love the basil fried rice and spicy drunken noodles. Have eaten in and had a lot of take out. Have found the service can be a little slow so if you are in a rush you speak up when you order.

We've been here a about three times over the past few years. Always willing to test out a place again to see if it has changed.(Plus I was really craving the drunken noodles from the old Thai place.) It had not. The previous place they ran, the "Thai Siam" was really very good, great sized portions and the staff quite... More

Excellent food. Restaurant was completely empty at 12:45 on a Monday, okay Mondays aren't that busy. Waitress took at least 15 minutes to come to the table. Really? There was literally no one else there. It was also quite cold inside, they were probably conserving heat for the non-customers. Food was VERY good though, had Zen Rangoon (a little too... More

Thai Siam used to be down the street, then moved over to become part of the Zen Asian Bistro. We expected the same level of deliciousness, but we were wrong. The food was bland. The waitstaff didn't listen to me, but was happy to listen to my husband. It also seemed to be a lot more expensive than it used... More

I stopped in for a solo dinner. Service was excellent as were the Zen Rangoons! The sushi was limited, but very good. If you have a hankering for Asian fare, you would be foolish not to stop!

You could not ask for better service if you were fine dining at a five star restaurant. The food is great, large variety of flavorful meals. You get so much to pick from. We can not wait to go back?

The dishes here are fresh, made to order and tasty. Until a few months ago, Japanese and Vietnamese dishes were available in addition to Thai, but no longer. In any event, it is also a pleasant evening even when the waitstaff is sketchy.
