Visit here every couple of months and think it would be nice if the menu changed as I feel it's been the same for a while now ! Lovely setting and this time we even managed a window seat overlooking the forth and the bridges. Attentive friendly staff and a relaxed environment. Always a nice spot for lunch and a... More

Lovely view, disappointing food. Don't believe any of it was freshly made. We ordered fajitas and pasta. The guacamole resembled green insipid gloop from a tex mex dip selection and the salsa must have come from the same pack. The pasta reminded me of supermarket fresh ravioli I've eaten in the past and at almost £11 I was extremely disappointed.... More

Wednesday (15/3/17) I didn't fancy Chinese so driving in silence! I thought safe bet O'Rocco Pier. 14:00 managed to get a window seat with a magnificent view, the Forth was wild spray reaching the terrace. Cool pint of beer went down well. We had starters and mains did I mention that we were hungry? My husband had fish and chips... More

We visited for lunch on a Sunday, with 2 young children - and were lucky enough to be given a window seat, which had an incredible view. The service was great, the atmosphere relaxed - I didn't feel uncomfortable about my 2 kids making noise, getting excited about the trains they could see going over the bridge, dropping pasta on... The place is ok for the view and that's it. Been twice and have found food middling to poor, it's mostly bland pub food and nothing exiting. Drinks are pricey. Staff go from disengaged to unpleasant. To be avoided!

Been a while since I was last here. Went yesterday with my daughter. Cocktails are excellent. We asked for a few old favourites not on the menu and we got them no problem. Food was served piping hot by very friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

My wife and I travelled from Edinburgh to have a late afternoon meal here. The starters were very nice (tomato and red pepper soup). One main was ravioli which was "OK". My own meal was fish chips, mushy peas. The fish was OK, The chips were only luke warm, limp like they had been reheated three times, the peas had... More

I really do not want to give this review as I got married at Orroco Pier a few years back and highly rated the whole place and the staff then. We visit a good few times each year especially with family and friends as it holds special memories. However, after a visit on Sunday with my husband, we won't be... More

It was Valentines evening so hotel was very busy, main restaurant fully booked, so we dined in the bar area. The staff were smiling and obliging I thought the menu a bit expensive. If I was staying for a few days I would have explored other restaurants and pubs in the area

We had a meal for five tonight. This was a return visit - our first visit was problematic however everything went smoothly tonight. The food was excellent and staff were delightful.
