We were heading home to Donegal after spending Christmas in Dublin and felt like coffee and something light after all the excesses. We were amazed at the array of furniture and then a post office in the corner and the coffee shop at the end. The tables were dispersed through the shop except for upstairs. Very unusual indeed. We ordered... More

Allen's of Caledon is like a step back in time. The Post Office is a reminder to me of local Post Offices in my own area which are sadly gone and the replacements have no character at all. The shop is quaint with many interesting items for sale. The coffee is very good and the tray bakes etc also very... More

Had lunch in Allens. Staff were very friendly and service was first class. Good selection available and very tasty. Would recommend to anyone going through Caledon.

I've been here a few times as I live quite near. The place has a natural appeal being such a nice building with a reputation for quality furniture etc but there is one staff member in particular in the cafe that should not be employed in hospitality, rude, unhelpful, uninterested & dismissive. She clearly hates her job & having to... More

Went here for breakfast. Although service was a bit slow. The large fry I ordered was lovely and all of it tasted great. The shop area is lovely and quirky and nice atmosphere.

I often stop at this cafe when traveling through Northern Ireland. Usually I get a scone, of which there is always a good variety, and coffee. But I have had breakfast there on occasion too. The fried breakfast with soda bread is very tasty. The atmosphere is relaxing and if there is time, you can browse through their shop for... More

Called in on our way up to co down.nice quaint surroundings.quiet.nice vintage style cups and saucers.helpful girl behind the counter.we ordered two teas and two small pieces of carrot cake and small pot of cream.carrot cake was passable.when went up to pay it came too 8pds40 which we thought was extortionate!so to sum grand spot but overpriced and expensive.

Called here for a light lunch which we found to be very tasty indeed. This is a lovely little cafe with a nice peaceful atmosphere. The food we have always found to be lovely. Will definitely call again on the way to Fermanagh lakes as it is easily accessible with parking right outside the door.

Called to Allen's today, no customer service whatsoever, not even a smile from cafe staff.. felt like we were a burden to them. Expensive and nothing special about the food.
