Look forward to this place opening every crawfish season. There is no better place to get boiled crawfish. Get there when they open at 5:00, we got there around 5:30 and had to wait for a table. And there was a line outside the door when we left. It is literally in the middle of nowhere, but so worth using... More

Hawks served very good Crawfish, a little expensive & a ride way out in the woods but the owners are very nice & the purging process guarantees exceptionally clean Crawfish. This is the type where seasoning is added on top of the shells. Cold beer & nice wait staff.

A little hard to find but well worth the drive! Follow the signs to great food! Great atmosphere and perfect crawfish! A fun place to eat for locals and tourist. Crawfish not too spicy, good size and tender! Delicious! Great staff!

This was our second crawfish restaurant experience and the one I had been waiting to try for quite some time. You can actually taste the difference in the crawfish to other places - the purging they do is what makes the difference. I cannot fault the other restaurant we dined at (Louisiana Crawfish Time), the food there was delicious but... More

We wait all year for opening night at Hawk's.....that first bite...WOW! Indescribable. He's in the middle of nowhere...literally...but people line up and wait. One reason is that he purges his crawfish for 48 hours so they are clean and delicious. Also delicious bread pudding! Can't wait to get back for my fix!!

Very good boiled crawfish! They have a choice of mild, hot, and super spicy. Very very friendly service from all the people that work there. And when they say in the middle of nowhere they mean it! We got there late about 9:30 at night on a Friday and were seated and served. It was very nice.

The crawfish are very good and clean. And I like that I can order extra spicy, because if your lips don't burn, they're not good crawfish. :) But the prices....WOW! They're a LOT pricier than most places for boiled crawfish. They ARE good, but not worth $6.65 a pound PLUS having to pay for boiled potato and corn which is... More

Clean. Delicious. Worth the Drive. Sure, there's the whole "experience" of a REAL Cajun restaurant--well-seasoned food, relaxed atmosphere and you better have a GPS if you're gonna find it. But let's face it. It's a restaurant. In the end, it's all about the food. And Hawk's doesn't disappoint. Crawfish so clean they look like they were scrubbed with little brushes--when... More
