Yes, this is attached to a gas station. Yes, it is kind of near the middle of nowhere ( but close to The RIP Van Winkle Gardens). But the food is great and so are the people serving. It is a get a tray and get in line kind of place. I had beans and rice with sausage and a... More

Really great down home Louisiana style food in a non assuming New Iberia area location. Yes the red beans & rice + a side of Boudin sausage is the order of the day here & man it is great. Not too spicey, just right. A nice casual place for Louisiana Cajun comfort food...

The price is very reasonable. Food is well seasoned. We arrive shortly after 11 AM and have no trouble getting in... More

We were heading to Tabasco on Avery Island and I had read a Trip Advisor review. We stopped in. We ordered cups of red beans and rice and boudin. After we ordered in the cafeteria type line we noticed most everyone had paper trays loaded with good. Once we duh into our rice and beans and hit the boudin cut... More

Ate the boudin and it was really good! It is a good stop for breakfast or lunch. It's also near the Port of Iberia for those working in the area..

Plate lunches are good. Boudin and cracklins are great. Don't let the location fool you
