Have always had a decent impression of this place, but after calling today - "Wow," in the worst way! The guy was short, rude and hung up on me before I could even get a short sentence out. A NICE sentence, I might add... And I called in the morning, way before lunch rush time. Uh, the first thing this... More

They have really good food here, but also have a great variety of beers, including crafts on tap. It gets pretty crowded in there, but there is a small porch where it is nice to sit right next to Front Street.

Ate at the Pub on a Sunday while visiting Natchitoches for the weekend, before heading home. Food was pretty good - although it's not somewhere to eat if you're in a hurry. Casual and family friendly and in a great location.

Spur of the moment ride to Natchitoches. 1st ever visit and picked the pub because we like trying new places. Parking was a little issue, but learned that you find a space on Front St. and take it. The pub like many Front st. Businesses doesn't have its own parking lot. It's obvious that the banks took more than their... More

The Pioneer Pub is the "local place" for Natchitoches and it has a great flare. When going to a local pub, I want to try the local beers and flavors. I was very disappointed that the waitress did not have any knowledge of the local beers and could not even describe even in general terms. She was "saved" by a... More

Food, service and atmosphere was very good. We would go back and would recommend it to others. Went at a slow time.

We were in town the day after Christmas which was a Monday so there was less choices of places to eat. We were not starved and were looking for something to settle our stomachs before heading back to the hotel for a nights sleep. We picked some alligator bites and soup - a strange mix maybe, but it did the... More

Good selection of brews. Good food. Cheerful place with many people filling the restaurant, many locals.

The food was typical for a pub but menu had interesting selections. We had to seat ourselves, never acknowledged by the servers. Bartender took our order. Husband's salmon was cold because servers ignored the food in the window. Some folks just got their own if they saw it up there. Kitchen was on it but the servers are killing their... More

We seated ourselves and after 15-20 minutes of not even being acknowledged, we finally left. Weirdest thing ever.
