The food was good although I am not a seafood eater, I found chicken on the menu so I was ok. I like the atmosphere and the booths were great for a large group. However, I would suggest to the mgmt, that the recover the booth seats with a different material because with all the spills and spots on a... More

We had biscuits and roasted oysters for appetizers then shrimp and grits and quail over greens and mashed potatoes for dinner with salads. All of that was delicious!!!! The blackberry salad was great but the Cesar salad had some NASTY lettuce in it ! Also the water is poured from a bottle with no ice.

Very nice place and good bar. But I had to say that I did not like my dish. I don't like grits for breakfast so you can imagine when I find grits in my dish. I had a blackened catfish with red sauce over it. It was OK but too salty.

Great food and service in Historic downtown Monroe, LA. The Menu is is not huge but all items are unique dishes that you won't find anywhere else. Last time I ordered the Egg Sandwich which came with french fries cooked in duck oil. Good Stuff!

After several hours of driving not only did we want a break to stretch our legs but also somewhere that was going to serve a good meal. This place did both - just 5 minutes off the expressway it was a great choice. Because it was freshly cooked it meant that we had a good amount of time to "chill... More

Well, apparently, there's a new chef. Whoever he/she is.... the food is good. Real good. I went for a repeat with the shrimp and grits. This time it was more spicy, a bit more Cajon. Excellent!

I was in Monroe for the day. Everyone suggested that I eat at Cotton. It is conveniently located right downtown, at the Ouachita River. The decor is historic and very cool. The food was excellent. I ate at the bar, David gave me great service and gave me a tour of the building. There is a balcony in back for... More

This was my first time that I have eaten here. I was traveling through the area with a colleague and we were looking for a restaurant. The experience was actually very disappointing. On arrival, the restaurant was about half full with plenty of tables open. We got seated right away and were sat right next to the door. It was... More
