There were two great things about Churro's: the food and the staff. The restaurant itself is nothing spectacular, in a strip mall. It is small but clean and appealing. The staff was hilarious and could not have been friendlier, I felt like I was at a relative's house. There were three of us and we ordered two sandwiches plus a... More

My wife and I had a great time. The lady who served was wonderfully friendly. My wife had the Picadillo a lo Cubano with sides of Congri and Tostones. I had the Lechón Asado with white rice and Maduros Fritos. Everything was delicious. I finished it off with Pilón Cuban coffee. Now I'm wide awake!! Will definitely come back if... More

This is one of my all time favorite restaurants in Nola. It's small local owned and family operated. They have a lot of pride in what they do down to their homemade ketchup. It is consistent you always know what to expect. It's a little pricy but worth every penny. Try the ropa vieja, arroz con pollo, or albóndigas. Save... More

It is a bit pricey, but delicious. The pork is amazing as well as the beef. The tostones are some of the best I've ever had. Yucca was delicious. Cubano was superb and more reasonably priced than some other options. Service was very good. We did not have to wait long as some have reported. We felt compelled to order... More

Very good Cuban food! So happy to find this in Metairie :) Food did take a little while to come out but it was acceptable because what you got to experience was a home cooked Cuban meal and you can't go wrong with that! If you like pork, do yourself a favor and order El Lechon Asado

Acceptable Cuban food. Can take up to an hour to get your food after you order, and is pricey for what you get.

My family of 4 adults and 2 active toddlers ate here for dinner. My bisteck rellanos, yuca de mole and black beans were well seasoned and delicious. We all ordered something different and shared. Everything was great. The wait was a little long, but the staff made us feel as though we were eating in their home. They helped with... More

It was our first time to eat Cuban food. We had some tamales, a cubano, and the Ropa vieja. All were cooked well and seasoned fine. My wife ordered a mojito which she said was very delicious. It was prepared by an older woman who was very delighful and made our experience that much more enjoyable. We want to visit... More

There were so many wonderful choices I did not know where to begin. So I started with a cubano sandwich which was a excellent choice. It was warm and crispy. Then the ropa vieja (shredded skirt steak); it was moist and tender with just the right amount (when combined with the sandwich) for two to share. The sides I choose... More

What s nice surprise to find this wonderful restaurant in Metairie! To start, My sister and I had delicious mojitos....so fresh! Then we both ordered the same entree with sides...roapa vierja (sp?), with yuca and sweet plantains for sides. What a yummy entree! I also loved the plantains. I am not a huge fan of yucas, but I gave them... More
