I love this place. This is my first visit at this location. Friendly service, great food and nice atmosphere! We split a platter and it was still a lot of good food. The price is very reasonable for the amount of food. We highly recommend this location. We didn't have to wait in line. Gumbo was good too!

Service was slow, food orders inaccurate and food preparation quality low. In a party of 10, only 2 persons in the party was satisfied with the meal. The Gumbo appetizer was delicious, but the fried crab claws were not seasoned well. One person in the party had flounder and it was overcooked. The restaurant overall was not very clean and... More

This retaurant was referred to us by our hotel staff. My husband and I shared a seafood combination plate. It was interesting that the appetizer was small boiled potatoes. Our seafood combination plate was average. Our waiter was very nice and accomidating. The gumbo was bland.

Oysters on the half shell the best i have ever had. The catfish basket,(shared)0, the best catfish i have ever had. the catfish is lightly breaded and tastes more like great lakes whitefish.

Get the seafood platter with soft shell crab. The gumbo is pretty good also. Huge servings do not the place to count calories.

One of the mainstays in the area for good old fashioned New Orleans seafood. You won't get white table cloths here, but you will get good locally caught seafood in a friendly atmosphere. The line can sometimes be long, but that is for a good reason. Tip: Don't order meatloaf (if they have it). Get fresh seafood. Ask the server... More

"oh sorry, we are switching shifts and getting settled" -wait staff standing around most of the time -crawfish etoufee didn't have dark sauce, and tasted a little off. Also found a piece of plastic in the dish. After... More

We have been eating at Deanie's for 30 years. We just made a trip to Metairie for my birthday to enjoy some of our favorite area restaurants. This has always been a favorite for really good seafood. The portions are so large we have started splitting entre's. Love the boiled potatoes they bring to the table. We always have trouble... More
