Great little place across the street from the Holiday Inn Metairie. The gumbo was so good I wanted to eat there twice. Great service and quaint atmosphere.

The Yumbo Mumbo Gumbo was delicious. Also had Boudin balls as an appetizer. Crispy outside and spicy meat inside. They carry Abita beers. Service was friendly.

The food is excellent. I have been there a few times and everything is better than the last. Get there early! There is very limited seating!

Gumbo had very little taste and was not at all authentic New Orleans or Louisiana style gumbo. The boudin balls were mediocore. Best thing was the service; very efficient and polite waitresses.
