So we went home for a weekend trip and my Aunt & Uncle decided to take us here for lunch. We managed to get a parking spot right in front but most of the parking is located across the street. They were pretty crowded but there is a beautiful little courtyard to sit in to wait. Instead of waiting for... More

We arrived of Sunday before the lunch crunch and were able to get our food quickly. The variety of specials and selections was very good.

Very popular restaurant. Food was good we had a wait but it was Friday night after graduation Seafood gumbo and the chicken gumbo were very good. They came with salad which had homemade dressing. Nice courtyard to wait. There was an altercation with a large unhappy party. The staff handled it well and peacefully. Our service was excellent and we... More

We ate here with family and friends and really enjoyed it. The service was great even though they were extremely busy with large graduation parties. The food was fresh and delicious. I would back if ever in the area again.

Food was excellent, oysters florentine as well as the Hawaiian Salmon, very busy, had to wait, but all in all, I had a good visit sharing a gender revealing dinner with friends.

My wife and I went to the morning call with one of our grandson's, after an Easter egg hunt. The cafe au lair and beignets were good. We would recommend for an informal outing.

I ordered the Shrimp Po Boy with Onion Rings had an abundance of shrimp which had been cooked properly. Also ordered a cup of Gumbo, was delivered to the table cold and had to return it to have it heated up. It had a good taste and consistency as a good gumbo should.

The chargrilled oysters were actually not bad, although I think a few more minutes on the grill would help. The fried oyster platter is decent sized also. The crab cake is good and paired with the crawfish fettucine makes for a rather filling meal.

My sister took me here and it didn't disappoint. I highly recommend the gumbo, raw oysters, crab cakes, redfish with crawfish stew (special). All very good. Give it a try.

This is my favorite restaurant in New Orleans for Gumbo and fried seafood. I live here and it's my go to spot when I'm hungry or when I have out of town guests.
