We were visiting Lafayette so took a chance on Bonefish and was pleasantly surprised... the location was good, as was the decor and the range of food on the menu. The only let down was the service from a new starter.

A friend and I visited this restaurant for the first time in the few years they have been open. We live 25 miles away and there are some good choices in our area. We were there about 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon. The décor and the lighting was very good. I ordered the 6 oz. filet and crab cake, accompanied... More
Choose your type of fish, then choose your topping! Toppings range from crawfish to pesto. Don't forget the creme brûlée for dessert!
Again I could not help myself I had to get some of there bang bang shrimp. Just the right amount of spicy and oh so tasty. This time I made it the meal and it was worth every bite! Service was outstanding as always. I shall return
You would think a seafood restaurant would know how to cook shrimp. The whole tables shrimp was undercooked and mine was practically raw. I the ordered vegetables. The spinach was unseasoned and gross. The edamame and broccoli were good.
Tried the BFG Fish Sandwich. Wow!!! So much red pepper I couldn't eat it. Food and seasoning is normal spicy but good. Will try it again, but request "lite seasoning". That should do it. My wife loves Bonefish, & it was her birthday. Nice wine choices included a Riesling we both enjoyed. Great crab-cakes, & tasty, spicy bang-bang shrimp. However, the waiter forgot my wife's request to bring the sauce separate, he put that on the kitchen. He also forgot to bring my sweet potato mash with the meal, he put that on the... More
