Very friendly pub with good access to the canal towpath. Food was excellent both in quality and quantity. Good range of different pies and a good selection of desserts. Will definitely return as it is good value.

Ate here this evening after a day on the Canal. One of the few pubs on offer in this area. Worth a visit for hearty pub food and a friendly atmosphere! Couldn't fault the home cooked cottage pie!

We stopped here for a pint. We might have had more than one, but the place was deserted as we were the only customers. It is is decent village pub, but the range of ales on offer is unimpressive. The landlord and landlady were friendly,...More

Seems to be a pretty traditional type country pub. The service was as expected as the barmaid was also the waitress and maybe even cook too. The food was hot and tasty, and the price was not too bad. Low ceiling, small bar, loud and...More
