We ordered 2 seafood platters and an oyster poboy. The seafood platters had 3 shrimp and 2 small pieces of fish on a mountain of frozen french fries. The poboy that was served was shrimp not oyster. After waiting for a new poboy(overcooked oysters); everyone...More

Family friendly, Cajun style food and service. Sometimes they have live music. It's an experience & I recommend it.

The char-grilled oysters were good. The po-boys were excellent, lots of shrimp and oysters. Atmosphere was casual. Service was good. I will definitely make a return visit.

Awesome atmosphere, even better food. Exactly what you'd imagine to find by the bayou, 1921 Seafood is located near the Civic Center and several hotels. Our server was friendly and attentive. Most definitely try the "After the Boil" soup!

This is a great place -- far away from giant retail stores -- where locals go to enjoy seafood. Try the gumbo and the appetizers.

The food was ok but not the service ! We had the impress to annoy the waitress; she seemed in a hurry to finish her service. And what about plastics plates ! ? They should invest on it.

My wife and I had dinner there. Her gumbo was tasty but pricey at $12.99. My fried shrimp was too heavily breaded and accompanying salad was only lettuce and tomatoes. Exception in meal was wonderful bread pudding. Entire meal with tax/tip was around $35.

Not all fried seafood should taste the same and at 1921 Seafood they do it right, the shrimp taste like shrimp and the fish taste like fish! I know this may sound silly to some, but this place does it right.
