Went with a party of 7 to celebrate family coming in from Virginia. The food was delicious and we didn't wait long at all to be seated. The actually sat us down immediately. Great family environment! Great food!

Our family has been going to Riverside Inn for man, many years. It has the best food and best service! We go as often as we can, but not as often as we would like to. This is truly my favorite restaurant!

We wanted seafood. I lived in Lafayette when I was growing up. My parents always went to Riverside Inn for their anniversary. Now that I am an adult, I took my husband there for seafood. Excellent choice! The restaurant was nice, staff accommodating, delicious seafood. You must try the marinated crab claws for appetizer. Their crawfish etouffe was spicy good.

Recent celebration for my husband's birthday was at Riverside Inn: consistently good service, great food, and nice atmosphere! Still one of our favorites here in town.

We enjoyed dinner. Our waiter was very engaging and pleasant. One of us ordered "lump crab" and gets a massive pile of picked crab"...excellent! Crabcakes were very good and the crawfish etouffee was O.K. Rating could vary quite a bit depending on what one orders.

Portions are on the small size compared to most that offer lunch sizes but for woman its perfect . Fried shrimp and potato soup has always been a favorite ! You can leave full .

Thank you and I have to agree - the potato soup is amazing. I think the next best one is the Split Pea Soup on Monday!!!! It's a must to try - you'll try more than once :) More

Stopped in for a drink and light brunch. We both had the Rouler, official drink of Lafayette, made from rum that is distilled in Lafayette, sweet and sour mix, a few drops of bitters, and Club soda. Very good cocktail. Followed that with the crabmeat gumbo. it was exceptional. Not many diners in around noon on a school day. Gumbo... More

Was a family party of 11 celebrating two birthdays- Dinner. Our server was Brandon who was excellent- he was definitely on his game. He took care of us all by himself and kept drinks refilled and dishes cleared. 7 people ordered seafood items, and some came with seafood gumbo which was nice and dark rich roux. 2 people got the... Recommended by a local so I had high hopes. When we arrived, they didn't mind that we were dressed casually as we were in town for a kids' sporting event. When we were seated the hostess told us that if we were to like their Facebook and check in on their page, we would be given a complimentary order of... More

I am so disappointed to hear you did not have a good experience dining with us. We do pride ourselves in customer service and Cajun cuisine, so I'd like to look into this further. Was the date of your dining March 25? Would you happen to know the servers name? With the exact date I can get the information I... More
