Excruciatingly slow service; salad, main course and desert. Tedious wait between courses. Main course of a blue crab cake and 4 small BBQ shrimp on pimento cheese grits was an unappetizing glob in the middle of a large, otherwise starkly bare plate. The dinner failed to generate much taste or interest.

You know it’s got to be good when it’s a chain and the locals eat there. We were visiting the Cajun country and asked our host where to find the best gumbo. He recommended Landry’s Seafood which kind of surprised me as it was a chain restaurant. My girlfriend Marianne and I were feeling a bit famished after our fun... More

Landry's has quite a selection of fresh seafood and meats and you are sure to find something to satisfy your palette. I was promptly greeted at the door and seated. My server took my drink order and informed me of the specials, while answering questions that I had about the menu. After bringing my beverage, we discussed menu options and... More

First time eating at Landry's. The food was good and service was great. Never went without. We both had the same dish, and no complaints. I would stop by again.

Very nice ambiance, good food and friendly servers. We loved our salads and our entrees. The seats were comfortable. We have eaten at Landry's in other places and this one lives up to the standard.

Stopped at the legendary Landry Seafood restaurant for lunch. The plates on the table were covered with water and had to be replaced with dry plates. The Shrimp gumbo my husband ordered and my crawfish bisque were both awful. There was a layer of grease floating on top of each dish. We both ended up fishing the contents out of... More

I have a wheat (not gluten) allergy, which makes navigating restaurants tricky. However, if something is gluten-free, it's usually safe for me. This restaurant does have a small handful of gluten free options. It's a small selection, but it's there. I liked the fact that the chef was knowledgeable enough to make some suggestions about the food for me. The... More

We each had po boys; one shrimp and the other oyster. Both were delicious. We did find it to be a bit pricey for lunch.

All of us who had the gumbo at our table got sick within hours of eating there. The gumbo did not taste good. It tasted old and like burnt roux. It was obvious it was old and had been reheated in the microwave... We will NEVER eat there again!

Landry's has a reputation of great food. This location is quaint and set off I-10, but packs a big punch of character. Walking in the front door, you feel like a movie star, and enter an elegant lodge setting. The food is phenomenal and can't be beat if you're in the mood for seafood. Blackened catfish, crawfish, shrimp... name your... More
