We happened upon this treasure while just riding around. We noticed the huge lunchtime, weekday activity and decided that a local joint with that kind of traffic required closer study. We were intoxicated by the aromas immediately upon opening the door! Poches has a nice...More

Stopped at this establishment as part of a bus tour. As one might expect in the part of Louisiana, the food was Cajun and southern. The serving line is cafeteria style and the dining area is not fancy, but clean with plenty of tables. They...More

Poche’s Market is kind of cafeteria style. You stand at the counter and pick what you want to eat. They put it on a plate or take out container and push it down to the register. You pay and take your meal to a table....More

I bought the Cajun meatballs and wish I had bought more. They were fabulous! The service could have been better, as the clerks had no knowledge of the food and weren’t any help.

Stopped here on my way back from New Orleans to Houston for lunch. Read many things about this place before and my expectations were all met. Great simple food at a reasonable price. Ordered the crayfish etoufee and regret that I didn't try more. But...More

I went with a group very impressed with selection. The boudin is great! I have not yet tried my boudin balls and crawfish pie.

Authentic Cajun food. Don't miss this! Dine in or take out. Try the crawfish étouffée and boudin. Delicious!

Made a trip based on a locals recommendation. Restaurant is more a dining hall with limited menu and no takers while we were there. Bought some spices and left. Save the gas and give it a pass.

I always have to stop here for cracklins. Everything is great and the service is excellent. When you have 10 minutes to venture off I-10 at exit 109 do so. You will not regret it.

Did eat boiled crawfish at Poche's, mostly plate lunches. As the previous post state there are plenty of places to get boiled crawfish when in season. The fruit stand, Chicken on the bayou and also Crawfish town USA.
