Tsunami's is a great place to meet friends after work for a cocktail and appetizers. The view of the river front is awesome from the outside terrace or inside the restaurant. I has an atmosphere unlike most restaurants in the Baton Rouge area. The sea bass is the best.

This restaurant has a great view of the river front. I was here on a business lunch. We had the Spicy Tuna, spicy Salmon and the Hung Lo rolls and member of our team that does not like sushi had the Grilled Chicken Lunch special. The rolls and grilled chicken were good. Not as good as the build up on... More

Sometimes parking is difficult downtown, however the meal at Tsunami makes it all worthwhile. The special pricing allows for a great selection of rolls and sushi. And the discounted drinks adds to the pleasure.

Had a business lunch here. Service was...confused? confusing? Waitress could not answer questions. They had McIlheny tabasco soy sauce, which I'd never seen but enjoyed very much; when I asked if I could buy a bottle off them, they said $20. Beautiful view from all tables; interesting local-themed rolls; good flavors, but sort of sloppy execution. I would eat here... More

Overlooks Mississippi River from 10th flood - beautiful. Fantastic sushi rolls and other oriental food. The cucumber wrapped crab and shrimp rolls were the best I've ever had. Very friendly and efficient service. Some very reasonable prices. In addition to river view, ambience is very modern and nice. Great bar too with good happy hour. Highly recommend. Conveniently located for... More

Tsunami's location is what draws so many to it, given there isn't much to see in Baton Rouge. The downtown location is also convenient if you have plans after dinner out on the town. Most of the Sushi Rolls are fantastic. By far the best thing on the menu is the Ribeye, however, be prepared to pay almost $50 for... More

If you like sushi and/or Asian, this is a great choice. We had a window seat overlooking the river. The food was beautifully presented and was excellent. The service was good. Very relaxed atmosphere. This was my second business trip to BR and each time, I've had dinner at Tsunami. Give it a try!

My wife and I love coming to Tsunami because it is always a great place to eat and see all of downtown Baton Rouge. The outdoor experience is great in the summertime and you can see Tiger Stadium from the rooftop. I am not a big traditional Sushi eater but I love the Zach's Special and the Green Monster.
