Whenever I pass by, I always check the sign to see if the amazing shrimp and brie soup is currently being offered. And while I've never been disappointed by any entree, I find it hard to stray from the stunning Fish Pontchartrain (topped with soft-shelled...More

Louisiana Lagniappe has delicious fish dishes and an exemplary staff. An award winning favorite of locals for years, we recommend it highly. We've enjoyed their cuisine at a table for two or many more for family celebrations. Enjoy this fine restaurant.

This is one of the top five restaurants in Baton Rouge. The service, quality of food and atmosphere have been consistent, for the nine years that I've been coming here. Too many restaurants in Louisiana consist of heavy fried foods. You won't find that here.

The first time I went was to just try it out, that was in 2013 , I've made this place my special occasion restaurant. Valentine's, Birthday and anniversary dinners. The food and service is the best.

The food and service at this restaurant is consistently excellent. From the appetizers, soups, and entrees everything is delicious. Service and atmosphere are good. You need to arrive early because they do not take reservations. I wish you could do reservations.

We have been to Louisiana Lagniappe numerous times and always upgrade our salads to include fried oysters. I would eat a plate if these alone they are so good and complement the salad beautifully. Food is always great and service staff attentive and knowledgeable.

If you want the tastiest seafood or steak this is where you want to dine. Only open for dinner so you may have a short wait in the bar but well worth it!

We last visited for a Father's Day Celebration. We waited about 20 minutes before seating but it was well worth the wait. Service was great; friendly and knowledgable. The drinks were memorable and the food well done.

My wife and I have been going to Lagniappe since it opened. It is our favorite restaurant in Baton Rouge, and has our favorite dishes of any restaurant anywhere. My wife has the Louisianne, while I explore around the menu. The "Fresh Fish en Papillote"...More
