We were staying at the Hilton downtown for a wedding so I decided to look up restaurants close by. Not that we couldn’t see them out our window! I had an awesome soft shell crab po-boy and my husband had a shrimp one. They were...More

Nice dinner at Poor Boy Lloyds. Seated promptly on a Friday night and I had the smoked deer sausage po boy and red beans and rice. Everybody's meal was excellent.

One of the best shrimp po boys I've ever had. Throw back to the sixties. The owner cordial and engaging. Great atmosphere.

We stopped here on the way back home from Florida. Thought the Boudin Balls were very good. We shared crawfish poor boys, they were good. Not the best we've had but plenty of food

Place order, sit down and your food is delivered in minutes. Old time restaurant with friendly staff. Good po boys and plate lunches-- Try the red bean or white bean lunch special.

I ordered the Shrimp Omelette and it was absolutely perfect! The food was amazing and the service was what you would expect. Great value. I could not finish it all. I will definitely be back the next time I am in town.

The atmosphere at Poor Boy Lloyd's is decidedly a local favorite. There could easily be a line to place your order and while I was there I saw a line of folks waiting for takeout. The Po'Boys are popular and good. The red beans and...More
