I loved the venue, but, the coffee was just so so. It has some charm inside, and it is always full of people working on their computers or reading. It's right at the LSU campus, we walked there a few times.

Whilst driving around LSU we decided to stop in at Highland Coffee for an afternoon pick me up. Walking in the wonderful aromas hit me and I couldn't wait to try some coffee. I was pleasantly surprised with the ambience of HC. This coffee house is also really spacious. The coffee is good and strong. This is a really popular... More

My son is a Sophomore at LSU and discovered Highland Coffees his freshman year. got to say I love this place. The coffee is outstanding and everyone there is very personable. Once they recognize you, your order is done before getting to the counter. Very friendly and they will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy!

Good vibes in here. I like the way the entrance is off the street, as it gives the coffee shop a nice "off the main road" feel. This is definitely a University coffee location, and is full of students chatting and doing their homework. I had a cinnamon roll iced coffee, and it was perfect because it was balanced well:... On my way through Baton Rouge, looked up local coffee houses (I mean, I see Starbucks more than Apollo ever did) and landed at this little gem across the street from LSU, which was a surprise as I had no idea LSU was based in Baton Rouge and still didn't really care. Once you enter, it feels like a student-based... More

Good coffee and iced coffee. Loved the croissant choices, the muffins and the granola bar were all very good. There is lots of seating inside as well as an outside area.

Hands down one of the best coffee shops in Baton Rouge--and perhaps in the state of Louisiana. Their menu is fairly small but perfect. They have freshly brewed coffee and tea as well as a full espresso menu. They also have freshly baked goods and bagged sweets. I love the chocolate dipped espresso beans and toffee almonds! Highland Coffees is... More
