I eat at this restaurant at every opportunity. Either passing through Baton Rouge or staying there, this is one of my favorite. The place is conveniently located, managed extremely well, the food and the choices for buffet with one of the finest Indian food is too much to pass up. The service is very pleasant and the price is extremely... More

It's a nice place with white table cloths. We had a native Bengali member who ordered for us. Appetizers included chili powdered califlower (yes!), spicy fish, and semisweet dish mixture w/ yogurt, chickened, crisped rice. Curries goat and ground lamb. Also, paneer. Family style was best for our group of six. Service was attentive to our many questions. We left... More

Visited this restaurant on January 27, 2017 for lunch today with my colleague. The restaurant is clean and tidy. There is a large variety of dishes both vegetarian and non vegetarian. The dishes were hot, tasty and not oily. The carrot halwa as dessert was excellent.

Our lunch time experience was a little better because we could sample a variety of dishes. Our dinner experience was just okay. Our server advised us on the wrong items in the mixed grill for $16 dollars but it took so long for our food to come out about almost 40 minutes so we just kept it. We were told... More

Total different atmosphere and crowds for lunch vs dinner. Lunch is buffet style and they do a good job of offering variety for a good price. The best way to check it out if you're cautious (don't know what you want to order) and are budget wary. My wife and I love spicy food so take our recommendations with that... More

I was on a business trip and was craving for homely indian food. So i used trip advisor to search for a good restaurants near Holiday inn where i stayed. And i will say it was a god choice. They have nice ambiance. Being alone and to make it fast i decided to go with their set menu-Veg thali. Food... More

The selection was beyond any other Indian buffet I have ever experienced. There were 4 types of flatbread, and 2 other than Dosa & Naan. I worked the vegetarian side of the buffet and was not even able to try all the selections. Plus the carrot pudding was just off the chart. Even the salad bar part was an upgrade... More

I never eat Indian food before. When I came here, it was very good. I love the food. They served buffet service and the chicken and beef, lamb, goat are halal. The price also is not too expensive for the buffet.

We come here once or twice a year, usually after attending one of our daughter's High School sporting events in Baton Rouge. We typically come at lunch and have the lunch buffet to try many different selections ( and because we can't remember the Indian names for the dishes we tried and liked on previous visits). But we have also... More
