The atmosphere is Cajun casual. The service was excellent. The food was too salty and not great. I had the fried crawfish and crawfish etoufee. I also had the seafood gumbo which was ok. I wouldn't come back here

Long standing reputation for great seafood. The building, inside and out, is fitting to the theme of Louisiana. Drawbacks? Parking, wait for a table, and lack of acoustics.

This place has so much good food to choose from, and the atmosphere is perfect for a Cajun seafood restaurant. There is always a wait on the weekends, so the earlier you go, the better!

We love Parrain's and eat there frequently. Great seafood. My favorite dish is their chargrilled fish where they leave the skin and scales on one side and cook it on an open fire!

Traveled in on business looking for local flavor and found it at its finest. Had several appetizers, The Whole Shebang, and a couple of Hurricanes pictured here. Amazing flavors and some of the best Cajun cuisine I've ever eaten. Yum!

What night do they have the oyster special? 1/2 price? Also, is there a special on a Sunday night?

Tuesday is half priced oyster day. Not sure of any specials on Sunday night, but they do have a wonderful Sunday Brunch.

You could just order oysters on the half shell, etc. This restaurant is so accommodating that I feel you will have no problems.
