We met several couples here. It's a place that can handle several large groups at a time! We made reservation to sit in the dance hall room so we could listen to the live Cajun music. It wasn't too loud to still have conversations but...More

After touring in the nearby area, we drove off the beaten path to eat at D.I.'s.The waitress seemed very disappointed that she had to take care of us. Maybe she was hoping she could go home early. Cajun Country usually means friendly people- but not...More

Each visit is a pleasure. The best Cajun music and atmosphere. Each item on the menu is most excellent. The boiled crawfish are the best I've ever had.

We are two New York City people who spent 4 nights in New Orleans before venturing west to Cajun country for the weekend. Having never eaten crawfish before, we entered with some trepidation. But once inside the door, we knew there and then that we...More

I have only been there during Mardi Gras. There is a long waiting line. Get there early to reserve a place. You order food and then the fun begins. They have an adequate Cajun band with a little dance floor but not many are dancing....More

My husband told me the story of how DI'S grew from a small hut to what they are now, so I booked a trip to see for myself. We took my brother and sister in law for the 11 hour journey. We were NOT dissapointed....More

This place is 42+ miles from my house. We drive here to eat boiled crawfish several times during the season. Been eating here for 20 years or so. Cajun music on the weekend with dance floor. Small airstrip for planes and helicopters from Ft. Polk.

We made reservations but it wasn't busy for being a Friday evening (we got there a bit late). We had the boiled and BBQ blue crabs. Delicious! Also a seafood platter - very good, too. Enjoyed the band. I would definitely go again!
