Every time I come home I always make a stop here. The food is always good and they make old standards come alive by just tweaking the ingredients. Two bad things about the place: The lines are too long and it is really noisy. The actual commercial bakery started around 1873 by the original Kirchoff, who came from Germany, I... More

I never leave this place without a loaf of Cranberry Walnut Bread! It is amazing! Of course the cookies and all the other delectable goodies are top of the line, but I have a soft spot for Cranberry Walnut Bread.

Best sandwich in the area and stop by the bakery for fantastic breads, cookies and sweet items. Just a very cool spot for great food.

The food is great(haven't had any 'bad' lunches there), the menu has a very nice variety of lunch items(the one bad thing is they are only open for lunch) and the bakery has great pastries and cookies.

If you're in Paducah, don't miss a chance to eat at this local treasure. Established in 1873, the bakery continues to produce breads and sweets - available in the deli as well as to go. I had a half roast beef/Havarti sandwich on fresh bread. There was so much delicious meat I had to eat half with a fork so... More

Very nice building right on Market House Square, everything was well maintained, the staff was very good. The bakery smells were delightful. Someone recommended the fried green tomato BLT, I liked it.

Me and my sister visited here Friday 17 June 2016. Wonderful atmosphere, smells wonderful, and the staff was so friendly. We had the chicken salad sandwich on cranberry-nut bread. That was the best chicken salad sandwich I've ever had. If you make it to Paducah this place is a must, but get there before 12, gets super busy.

I'd make a return trip to Paducah just have some more desserts here. We had Baklava, Pecan Pie Bars, and All Good Bar. As an experienced sweets eater, the "All Good Bar" is a top ten experience! Nice atmosphere in a great location.
