Came in for beer and appetizers. Fun, unique atmosphere with the servers in European dress. Will come again for a meal. Service ok - we were basically left alone once it became apparent we weren't staying to eat

So the Mrs. And I were checking out the Newport Aqurium. Being the trip advisor lover, I check to see the local restaurants. This is a place to go and have fun. It is usually noise coming from a German band. The food is good and the outside beer garden is great. Due to the size of the facility service can be spotty just get a beer, relax and enjoy yourself.
We have been to both this location and the one in Chicago and have had great experiences at both places. Our young kids loved the live music. The food is always delicious and I highly recommend the pretzels with bier cheese appetizer.
Even though we were there on a Saturday night, we only had a short wait to get a table. This is German "fast" food imho. Pretty standard fair. Kitchen is cranking it out. Completely adequate representation of the cuisine. But the atmosphere is so fun. That is what keeps me coming back each time I'm in Cincinnati.
My Husband and I stopped here for an early dinner before the Garth Brooks concert at US Bank arena. We really enjoyed the atmosphere.
