I lived in Cincinnati and ate Skyline chili a hundred times each year during my 18 years there. I've lived in Florida for 12 years now, but always stop at Skyline anytime I'm near one - either while traveling through the Midwest, or South or West Florida where there are a few locations. We traveled through Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana... More

you know exactly what you're getting. diarrhea-inducing chili, poor quality hot dogs, and entirely too much cheese. upon my last visit, my to-go order was also lacking the fries i had ordered (which i do actually like). but really, just go somewhere, almost anywhere, else.

I used to eat Cincinnati style chili often when I lived in Ohio. Now that I live in Florida, I can find it in a can but it's just not the same. When visiting Louisville, we decided to have lunch at Skyline. We weren't disappointed. The food has always been consistent from location to location. It's nice to know that... More

Our first time at Skyline Chili was an experience. Our server was cheery and helpful. Since we were newbies she offered us samples. My husband got the 5 way plate which had the biggest pile of cheese I've ever seen served. I opted for the chili spaghetti with onions and beans. Eating chili with spaghetti was a little strange for... More

Yes...we drove nearly 100 miles out of our way to make this a stop on our road trip! We've loved Skyline for as long as I can remember! Their tiny little hotdogs can't be beat! Of course, it's the chili that really makes a Skyline Cheese Coney! This location has more space than several we've been to, and the staff... More

Although different from all other Chili recipes, Skyline is my favorite place for a "coney" and also for chili spaghetti. The cheese is always piled high and the pasta is steamed to perfection.

Skyline Chili has many imitators, but the original is still the best!!! Wonderful Cincinnati-style chili, with GREEK spices as well as the standard ingredients. It is perfect on spaghetti with cheese (three-way), or with beans, or onion. The oyster crackers are the perfect compliment. Cheese Coneys -- mini-hot dogs -- are filling, but not so much that you can't have... More

Well apparently if you are not from This area..everything. I love a three way with a coney dog (hold the onion) at least a few times a year. But take an out of towner with you and oh boy the comments start flowing. If you are local you will love it but its an acquired taste.

It had been a while since I had been to Skyline Chili. I like the one in Plainview, in the East End of town, off Hurstbourne Lane. I went for lunch. They have returned to their old, simple menu. I love their 3 ways: a plate of spaghetti with chili and cheese topping. Three sizes are available, and also other... More
