We really liked the beer here when we stopped on a saturday afternoon. We didnt eat there and i dont know what its like at night, but its an excellent mid afternoon stopping point for a chill beer.

One of the first places we ate at when we moved to Louisville and we keep going back. Great laid back atmosphere, awesome beer, and the Jamaican Jerked wings are my personal favorite.

What a find! Located in a trendy and eclectic section of Louisville, this great brew pub is not to be missed. Who thought we would find such a gem on our one night stay in Louisville. The beer is brewed nearby or in small batches on site. Try the ESB - it is fantastic. The food is also good with... More

I went here last night with some business associates. The pumpkin ale is very good; I had three pints. I also had the bison burger cooked medium and ham/bean soup. The burger was dry and tasteless just as processed and frozen bison tends to be. The soup tasted like Campbell's. I think this place has good beer and good ambience... More

The beer was good, food was also good. Solid microbrewery. The wait staff was also friendly and helpful in pointing out local places to visit. Recommend for those stopping in the Highlands either for lunch or dinner.

We did a search for top microbreweries in Louisville, KY while visiting family and settled on Cumberland Brews because their menu looked more interesting. We were not disappointed!! Beers -- My husband loved the IPA (he says tremendous!) and the nitro porter. I am not a fan of hops so loved the Creme Ale. Food -- We both loved the... More

Perfect for a great fresh beer. All hand crafted on premises with also a selection of bottles. The food is creative and affordable. I had a special of the day, a pork tenderloin with a cheese sauce. The side of Sweet potato was delish!!!!! Friendly people, great atmosphere and fun. I will be back for sure. Happy hour is a... More

We've been to Cumberland Brews several times and each time, when we leave, we're already looking forward to our next visit. The beer is cold and good - we try different ones that are featured. The chicken wings are fantastic! There are different kinds aside from buffalo including Jamaican Jerk and honey chipotle. If you like wings, you should definitely... More

Sundays and Tuesdays (i think?) are half price beer days! The food is good, and the beers are too. This is a great spot that locals dig...mostly for it's proximity to all the shopping and bars on Bardstown Road, but also because the food and drinks are tops. If you can snag a table outside that's great, but they're usually... More

Cumberland Brews frustrates me so much. They have wonderful beer, and everyone knows it. They have maybe 10 tables, tops. This means, if you ever want to go there in the evening after work, you are extremely unlikely to get a table. If you want to go on a weekend, forget it. There is no air conditioning in the summer,... More
