When you are ready for reliably great food that you ate at home growing up at reasonable price, go to Ramseys. great service and venues. My wife and I prefer the Tates Creek Road location but the Nicholasville Road location is the newest - but still "down home"

Solid southern cooking without the hype. The pork tenderloins are excellent as a platter with red sauce or as a sandwich. Breakfast is also very good but bring your appetite to take full advantage. The Yogi Chicken salad or the vegetarian plate is good for lighter fare. Also a great spot to grab a slice of Missy's Pies. Hard to... More

We have gone to Ramsey's twice now and have found both experiences amazing! The food tasted so fresh and delicious. I had the most amazing zucchini burger that was divine. This restaurant is a definite must if you're in Lexington.

Hot Browns were delicious. Purs did include turkey. Portions were huge. We shared two among 5 people plus some appetizers. The fried corn was sinfully good. We all ordered pie. Each piece is almost 1/4 of a pie so you may want to share

Food was good. Prices were great. Ambience was relaxing. Music reminded me of my prior life as a young lady.

It was okay. Nothin earth shattering. The food tasted okay. Again, nothing groundbreaking. I had the pot roast with mashed potatoes and fried green tomatoes. All of it needed spice and lots of salt.

Dinner at 6:30 on Tuesday. Busy, but our party of 8 seated in 5 minutes. Staff was very helpful. Food and drink orders taken in groups of 4 at our request, for payment purposes. All food delivered at same time from kitchen. Again, all service was very good & bills correct. Food was very average to disappointing. Chicken n dumplings... More

A wonderful, casual, friendly spot with great food! My favorite is the Kentucky Hot Brown as I'm from the northeast, I try to stop in whenever I'm in town. Great dessert too!

Arrived at Ramsey's at about 5pm on a Saturday. We were seated immediately. They had several people seated when we arrived. Looks like this place has been around for quite some time. Looked to be and old store converted. Waitress showed up quickly and took drink orders. Menu was pretty much same price for all entrees. Included choice of meat,... More
