I love Hot Browns, an open face turkey sandwich with bacon, a tomatoe, and cheese sauce Back Home again makes this to perfection! Presented on a cast iron platter, it is the best I have had. I paired that with fried green tomatoes. They are served with a horseradish aioli. What great food! Service was excellent. If in E-town, make... More

If you are looking for a good homemade meal this is the place. The open face roast beef is my favorite. The baby carrots are a must! If you want a terrific Hot Brown then this is the place. The Chicken fried chicken is really good also. I have never had any bad food there. The servers are very sweet... More

Driving on a long trip we decided to off road a bit for lunch and found this gem. Kinda quirky, very friendly, good food, and plenty of interesting knick knack stuff to look at. All in all a great break from the monotonous hwy exit fare. Glad we went and would stop again.

They must be doing something right to be in business so long. It is good country cooking without spending time in the kitchen yourself. Each bite reminded me of a visit to grandmas house. In fact the dining is in a historic house near the downtown. Come prepared to eat! The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable.

This is a charming little place located a few miles off 65 in the downtown area of Elizabethtown. When traveling, we always try to look for places like this over a chain. It's located in an old house and has a little boutique store inside as well. It was quiet, clean, cozy and decorated very nicely. The food was very... More

This is my second visit. First visit was very impressed. This time Waitress didn't seem interested in serving us. After food was served. She didn't even come to check. Very disappointing customer service. Food wasn't that great this time.

While in E'town visiting today we thought we would break away from the chain restaurants and try something local. Saw on TA it has good reviews so we thought we'd give it a try. Bad mistake. Not sure if they have lots of local friends that posted great reviews to bump them to the top, but TA let me down... More
