Tis a grand day. We have been stopping at Harland Sanders Cafe And Museum for many years, and folks like the history and "museum" sections of this "original KFC." What are they serving? Well, just about the very same menu that all KFC serve. We ordered the three piece chicken dinner, and were delighted to be in a large empty... More

My mother tells stories of meeting the Colonel, so visiting the place where it all began was a must-do on our trip past Corbin. The kids swore the KFC was "better than usual" and the recreated old restaurant was an interesting footnote. I wouldn't call it a destination, but worth stopping by for a bite if travelling by or through... More

My daughter and I were finishing a road trip and decided to get some grill chicken. We were pleasantly surprised to see it was the KFC birthplace. Very nice to see and a memory we will cherish

One of those places you just have to stop at once at least! It's Colonel Sanders original restaurant for goodness sake! The building is neat with a small museum - replica of the original kitchen, example of a motel room from the motor court that once stood next door and lots of Kentucky Fried Chicken memorabilia. The food is today's... More

My husband and I stopped there after a visit to nearby Cumberland Fall State Park. We were hungry and I had never eaten at the original KFC. The food was great like it always is, but extra special as we were sitting in the Colonel's first KFC! After dining, we toured the museum which featured items from that first restaurant.... More

OMG what a flashback to my childhood. Colonel Sanders was such a character and amazing businessman, it was very cool to see this tiny museum about him. Our lunch was typical KFC that somehow tasted better than our restaurant at home. Go figure! We loved the whole experience!

We had one of those stop and see routes on our way to Pigeon Forge. In pursuit of more scenic travel, this was at our exit. A $5 meal special for both the wife and I was the ideal choice. Good value, perfectly prepared meal to eat and walk through the museum. Plenty of seating and a very tastefully done... More

It's a cute little museum with a retro themed restaurant, some memorabilia and information. Takes about 10mins for a careful look around. There's not much else to say!

If you need a job head to the KFC in Corbin. Seriously they need help. The counter server took your order filled it all by himself then went on to the next person over and over again while the drive through gal had two people filling her orders. I was third in line and at least 15 cars got served... More
