Boone Tavern built in 1909 on the old "Dixie Highway," and named after early Kentucky explorer Daniel Boone, the historic Boone Tavern Hotel & Restaurant is prominently located on the College Square in Berea, Kentucky. They are known for their Spoonbread.

The food was only so-so. The tea was luke warm. The oatmeal was good, but not great. The service was was pretty good.

The food was well prepared and excellent. Service was quick and superb. Seating and ambience is in keeping with the overall historic feel of this establishment. Will go back!

This onsite dining room offers unique food with knowledgeable enthusiastic servers in the southern tradition. We have enjoyed all of our meals here.
