Attractive surroundings, 1930s building, helpful attentive service, and fine food. House made specialties: slaw, beets, burgoo & cornbread all yummy. Reservations not required, but it never hurts to call. I don't remember the hours but do remember that they are (or were) closed on Sundays and Mondays, and also from Jan 1 to Mar 1 for the cold season.
