We visited Jazz on a road trip that took us through Kansas City. We selected the restaurant after reading the reviews on Jazz. We were not disappointed. We started our meal with Stuffed Mushrooms, then I had the Half Order of Cajun Stir Fry, which was delicious and more than enough food. Hubbie had the Half Order of Blackened Catfish,... More

I have been eating here for years and the best thing they have to eat is the Paneed Chicken that is not even on their menu.

I am in KC for business for a month and have gone with my co-workers to some of the highly recommended restaurants and for the most part left satisfied with the food but it was nothing to write home about. We decided to try this restaurant out just because and were blown away on how great the food tasted compared... More

It is always a good time to Jazz. The live music is consistently good. It always seems busy, but you don't seem to have to wait too long to get a table. I tried the Chicken A La Mer for the first time and it was scrumptious.

This was an 1 hour ordeal just to get our food. Empty tables all over the place. Food was ok. No apologies from staff. Poor management and efficiency.

Very busy restaurant. Tried to sit at the bar and very slow or non service as I went for a table instead so I would be served. Food was OK, not great. Ordered a glass of wine that was off as may have been opened too long ago to serve.

If you want great Louisiana Cajun food, this is your place! Great atmosphere of Jazz and live music (check the events calendar), service with a smile and amazing food is found here! We ate here on Valentine's day and only had a 30 minute wait. We ordered and our food was out in less than 15 minutes. The waitress was... More

Great cajun food considering its in the middle of the country. Their chicken alamar is the best. Great rustic environment. They have something on the menu for everyone, even the kids.

Wife and I went on a Friday night, at 7:00. Got a table in about 5 minutes. Had the Tour of New Orleans appetizer, red beans and rice were very flavorful, dirty rice delicious, hot fresh hush puppy, and jambalaya which was well crafted. We shared a full serving blackened catfish, which was delicious and came with rice and veg... More
