First time at village inn in quite a while. Found it as expected, modern, clean, comfortable, and breakfast all day. Found the skillet garden with pancakes big enough to share. Good for a quick meal while traveling thru. If not in a hurry or staying, try also some local eateries in town where gas is cheaper too.

Breakfast was flavorless. Eggs not cooked right. Potatoes and veggie in my skillet were overcooked. Male host came out of bathroom stall and left without washing his hands (my husband was in there at the time). Witnessed one cutomers food being put in the microwave. Very disappointing. Will never eat at a village inn again.

The service was great. The food was average. My husband liked his pancakes, but was disappointed that his steak tips with peppers and onions had... carrots? No peppers, no onions. I had the Pepper Jack Benedict and it was okay, but a little too bland for my taste. I spent my time looking at the pie menu and we bought... More

There are not many restaurant options in this town for travelers, so I would say this would be one of the better eating options. Overall food quality was fair, and the service level was good.

Our two trips to the Colby KS Village Inn were not great. Despite decent food, it was a long wait to get it and the service was extremely poor. On our second visit, it took three, no four, attempts just to get water. If you are wanting the good experience that a visit to Village Inn usually brings, don't go... More

We've been stopping here for years, en route to Colorado. The service is good, the food great, and the prices...well, they keep going up, but I'm sure that's the economy in general. My dh loves breakfast here. This time I had a chicken sandwich with avocado and cheese--and they didn't upcharge for onion rings. We didn't order drinks, and price... More

We were passing through and hungry, Trip Advisor gave good ratings, so we stopped at Village Inn. Excellent choice! I love breakfast---but only at lunch and dinner time! Village Inn has breakfast all day, plus a large lunch and dinner menu. I had the 'Pick 4'; 2 bacon, large biscuit and gravy, 2 eggs, and 2 slices of French toast.... More

The food is average. I had beef pot roast which was tasty with mashed potatoes and cornbread stuffing. The stuffing was ice cold, the rest wasn't warm enough. My wife had chicken strips and french fries. She enjoyed it. They forgot the salad.
