There is a reason this place is the "Star of Waterloo." It was definitely the bright spot of our overnight stay. Breakfast is breakfast anywhere but the staff was awesome, cute atmosphere, and creamer in a little cow? Awesome! And... they will let you buy...More

I had an appointment in downtown Waterloo. I arrived early, had some time to kill and that's when I wandered into this cafe for a quick lunch. Being new to the area, I wasn't aware that Newton's is considered one of the top rated restaurants...More

Don't waste your dollars at this place. We were served spoiled sausage and they argued with us - it both smelled and tasted spoiled. Staff was very rude to us and it took an hour to get our check,.

Everything was awesome. From the outside, it's like a retro diner on the corner! Even with the big spinning sign in front! Outside seating available, inside was more than comfortable. Loved looking to the front or side of me and just seeing beautiful buildings and...More

The staff is friendly the minute you walk in the door. Breakfast all day. Excellent food that is not the common every day fare.

We have eaten here a few times. It is good food and a neat atmosphere in a converted jewelry store. It is a nice spot for a quiet dinner.

My picture of the pancake doesn't do it justice! The plate was probably 12" in diameter! Food was awesome! Try the raspberry jam and then buy a jar! We happen to like sautéed onions in our potatoes, so had those added. Bacon was awesome! Enjoy!
