Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Very pleasant dinner where the hand of the chef shines above all, offering a cuisine with warm and refined tones, making the excellent raw material of the area shine. Precise and attentive service, both for the refined aperitif in the garden and in the dining room. Only note a little neglect in the garden in front of the parking lot and a room that could be a little 'warm with some furnishing, but strictly personal opinion. A big round of applause for the courage to carry on the activity in an area far from the international tourism of the Lower Langhe, and I hope that they will get the recognition they deserve, especially for the level of price quality and for the very convincing cuisine, in comparison even to starred in the area. Bravo!

Sublime! Care and respect for the raw material of the highest level. We experienced some "stars", especially in the area, in which we had a great time, but that really do not differ from the cuisine of Gèrôme and the service of Charlotte. Give yourself a gift: try it and you will love it! We will return: alone, with friends, every opportunity will be good to return to you. Thank you Charlotte and thank you Gèrôme.

The place is very nice and romantic surrounded with elegance in nature. You can make a delicious aperitif entirely prepared by the chef sitting in the garden enjoying the view. A list of dishes ranging from the great classics of haute cuisine (foi gras, snails, lobster, pigeon, duck) to those of local cuisine (veal tuna, agnolotti del plin, etc.) Really beautiful entry of caprese reinvented! Very good lobster caplets, and sweets. Absolutely recommended. Friendly, smiling and very knowledgeable staff. Nice wine list that focuses on the locals and France. A beautiful quiet place to enjoy excellent dishes.

What a nice surprise! We set a meeting to see starsbox, the evolution of canadian tent, and our contact booked us in this hotel, so we invited them for dinner in the restaurant. We expected a small mountain hotel with a classi italin trattoria, whilst we found this beautiful buolding with high end cousine. I am italian: the bread was absolutely fabolous and the dish with a french flavour but still with the italin geat taste and quality. Service was impeccable and the french host very kind to us. The room was good and the breakfast the morning after absolutely gorgeous. Will come back next time I will be around.

We had a great surprise finding this wonderful restaurant in such a small and remote place! The menu proposes a mix of Piedmont and French cuisine, majestic prepared dishes and top quality ingredients. We had lobster ravioli, risotto with frogs, duck with peaches and again lobster. Everything was amazing. The staff is great. A lot of little appetizers are proposed before the lunch, they are very well prepared and delicious as well. An extraordinary culinary experience!

Restaurant belongs to a hotel, a bit in the middle of nowhere. We got the tip from other Dutch people. Delicious food, take the menu scoperto, 42 euros for 4 courses. Bit French, bit Italian. Like the hostess, very friendly and attentive. Very good.

Sunday 14/07 special, visit to lavender and lunch at ris. Piemontesine, all courses EXCELLENT accompanied by a good wine. The right price given the quality of the product. The only drawback I suffered from the heat, I think the problem is flies. The prepared waitresses.đź‘Ť

I'm struggling to find a flaw. Beautiful location, friendly and professional service, intriguing menu, well-drafted wine list, especially for some gem from across the Alps. Excellent food preparation and presentation. We'll be back soon.

This restaurant is more exclusive than other restaurants and is more French orientated. Very good but don't expect traditional Italian food.

A few years ago, Parisiens Jerome & Charlotte Migotto moved to a small hamlet in Italy's Langhe, south of Turin, and renovated a building, turning it into a hotel and restaurant. The result is spectacular. We stayed a night in the hotel and had both lunch and dinner there. Both meals started off with complimentary amuses vouches and (also complimentary) flutes of white wine, plus very good fresh-baked walnut bread. For lunch, we each had pasta: a plate of stuffed ravioli/plin in a butter sauce, and a seafood spaghetti-like pasta with clams, mussels, octopus (very tender), and scampi. Although the menu only lists wine by the bottle, they were happy to serve it by the glass. Dinner started again with complimentary food and drink. We shared an appetizer, then Linda had lobster tortellini, and I had very tender and flavourful beef pot au feu. We had to try the crystalized fennel dessert... Unusual and very good. Again, wine by the glass, and we ended the meal with a glass of local dessert wine Barolo Chinotto and decaf coffees. Everything was very good, with attention to detail. Menu and service was in your choice of Italian or English, with French as an option. A memorable meal. If you're able to make the effort to search them out it will be worth it!

We drove down from Benevello, about 35 - 40 minutes. Lunch was excellent. Chef Jerome had a two and a three star Michelin rating at restaurants in France. Charlotte ran the front of house in those restaurants. Charlotte's hospitality shines through right from the start, which was an aperitivo while sitting outside looking into the Langhe valley. Chef's food is worthy of a Michelin starred establishment but the price was more like a Bib, $35 Euro for five courses.
