So the staff are very nice! Though, we asked for cream cheese to be added and it wasn’t. I think waitresses need to write down the orders. The service was quick. The vegetarian roll was crispy but not exceptional. I would try a different appetizer...next time. I’d also add a sweet chili sauce bc whatever sauce they had was bland. The sushi rolls were a mixed bag. I got a shrimp tempura roll for less than $8 (which is cheap in my opinion bc normally they’re around $12 or so,) but it was literally shrimp, rice and seaweed. The prices are fair or even cheap for some rolls. The rolls just need to be adjusted. The fruit roll was very good! It had mango, pineapple, rice and other things. It was a unique take on a vegetarian roll. This restaurant is located near the cinema, so it’s nice to eat here and then go to the movies. They just need to tweak a few things to make this place stand out.More

The sushi here is not bad but only if you've never had real sushi. If you like cream cheese on your sushi and do not like raw fresh fish then this is the best sushi on the island. Flavors are good, rice is not too...cold and the price is right.More
I was recently introduced to Ginge Sushi last month by a friend. I've eaten there several times and have been impressed with the quality of their cuisine. The place itself is unpretentious and can be a little loud at times but the sushi and other...dishes offered are far above average.
Unfortunately, Sushi in St. Maarten in recent year at Benrie's and Charlie's has been sudstandard. I decsribe them as "Sushi for the Tourist"... it looks like sushi but that's where the simlarity ends .... generally tasteless. Moulin Fou was pretty good but had a limited menu.
Ginger in the other hand is excellent. All of their food in cluding sushi, rice and noodle dishes are fresh, flavorful and delicious. In my opinion they are offering the best sushi in
St. Maarten by far ... not fancy but they really "put it on the plate". Try it ... I doubt you'll be disappointed.More
