Our local brewery is not the typical small town home made beer bar. It's really well crafted. The bar it's self is redone in a classic style with as much of the original building left as possible. The view is a Classic Mississippi river front setting. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Really a great place for... More

The food here is incredible. The beer is fair to Midland. There is a slight "soapy" taste to the beer like they either didn't rinse well enough before bottling or didn't boil the wert long enough.

We were on a road trip back from a stop in Nauvoo, Illinois and decided to check out the Fort Madison riverfront. It is there that we stumbled onto the Lost Duck Brewery. What a pleasant surprise! Great craft beers, excellent sandwich options including Elk and Bison. Friendly staff and great decor with a perfect view of the Mississippi River.... More

As a brewery, the Lost Duck is OK; as a restaurant, it is an unexpected treasure. We had the jambalaya and almond crusted duck tips. Both wonderful! Railroad buffs will appreciate its location, just across the street from a Santa Fe depot museum and steam locomotive.

I love all types of beer dark to light. This beer is lame. Everything tastes watered down and boring. The lone bright spot was the jambalaya, good spices. I give them credit for trying but it's just forgettable. Good luck.

We stopped in on a quiet Thursday evening. The beers were refreshing and the fried goat cheese with raspberry chipotle sauce was delicious!

Lovely place next to the Mississippi. Very good cocktails. Very reasonable small town prices for big city quality.

Stopped in to have a beer. I ordered oatmeal stout because thst's what I drink. The waitress pored it and there was no foam. It tasted moldy. I told her something was wrong & she said "nothing is wrong with it ...it's fine" She never turned on the lights in the restaurant. We had a beer and left. We will... More

Try the Tenderloins and fresh fried chips. Both are awesome. Tenderloins are huge and more meat than breading. Their jicama salad is to die for.. Try some of their beers. New ones all the time. They do not take credit cards, but ATM is on site.
