Too many dishes to try. My friend and I had chicken and beef fajitas. Comes out very hot with soft she'll tacos. Fresh hot veggies and meat. Great food. Rice and refried beans with a little lettuce on the side. Very good service. Good prices.

We got into town and were hungry and this was not far from our hotel; and we always like Mexican food. We arrived around 4:30 on a Friday night and were seated quickly as it was early. It did however pick up quite a bit as time went on. It was nice to see that they had Dos Equis XX... More

Los Astecas on Dodge has awesome chicken pipian. Refrieds are great, but you DO NOT get beans with the chix pipian. I have never been to a Mexican restaurant that didn't serve both with entree. Had to pay extra for beans. But they are MORE than good. Also, last time I was there, they did not have CARNITAS on the... More

I like the food. Cheese dip is perfect. Fajitas are great. It's easier to eat in than to place an order to go. To go orders are always confusing and often it's just not right when you walk out the door.

Stopped here Wednesday evening after a long drive. THIS IS THE WORST MEXICAN FOOD EVER. I ordered the chicken quesadilla. It was ok but the rice was dry and had no flavor. My friend ordered a tamale which was so dry it was un edible. as was her chilli relleno. The wait staff didn't speak much english so you would... More

The wait staff is absolutely unfriendly and treated me like I was a bother. I would not recommend this establishment unless you like to be treated like a pain.

Perfect spot for a luncheon. Right in downtown Dubuque, across from a parking ramp. Everything is fresh, and the bakery is top notch. No longer a wait staff, you order at the front of the restaurant. Eat in the restaurant , or out in the common area of the Rokusek Building.

Upon arrival, the decor was typical for an "authentic" Mexican style restaurant. The service was very prompt. The home made sangria is something that could have been made with better wine. The combination of cheap wine mixed with what I believe to be tamarind left a weird taste in my mouth. The food was amazing. I had the pollo Azteca... More

First of all I admit the food is good, just good not great. It might be the best Mexican food in Dubuque. If only they locate in Texas or Arizona, this restaurant might be dead. Customer service is poor. My friend ordered lunch but distorted the order a little bit then they charge for dinner price. Can you believe $17... More
