Whenever we travel to Dubuque we make it a point to get at least one meal from the Pepper Sprout. great pairings of wine, fine libations and wonderfully prepared dessert all enhance the selections of fine food. Best to make a reservation though.

My Mom and I both enjoyed eating at this upscale Midwestern eatery. I wanted to try a local restaurant with a Midwestern sensibility and the Pepper Sprout perfectly fit the bill!

The lamb chops were wonderful. Only a Master Chef would combine watermelon with olives for the sauce over the chops. Perfect genius flavor pairing. It was due to the recommendation of the knowledgeable wait staff that we didn't go with well-done lamb. She was correct,...More

We used to go to Pepper Sprout with business (customers and suppliers) as well as occasionally for personal dinner. We stopped going for a couple of reasons, some mediocre service experiences and, mostly because the menu went in a direction that didn't match our palet....More

My wife had salmon and she liked it. My mom had chicken piccata and it was okay. I had a lamb shank that tasted awesome but did not have much meat on the bone, I left hungry.
