Distinguished guests, pile your coats on the bannister and find your table......you're in for authentic Italian flavor! I detect 10 pounds of red, ripe tomatoes peeled, seeded, diced and simmered with Italian herbs, garlic and spices coaxed to a climactic synergism of flavor and you've got the jist of Marco's Red, Spicy Sauce. These folks use a secret recipe that... More

Not in the best part of town but this classic Italian restaurant has great food. Would not necessarily recommend for romantic dinner but the family style atmosphere is old world classic. When you go, you MUST have the pizza. They make a combo hot and sweet sausage combo that will make you want to eat the whole large pie yourself.... More

A group of ten dined together and we made memories of some of the worst service many have had in a long time. We ordered four appetizers and only got two, but they tried to charge us for all four. We had to continually ask for water - they gave us one pitcher for us to fill the glass ourselves.... More

Having been a long-standing lover of Marco's pizza for the past 20+ years. I regret to say that this is my last time ordering. Any good local knows that in order to get a pizza you must wait an hour and you plan accordingly to get a really great pizza. However, tonight we ordered at 6:04 PM we're told we... More

Stopped for dinner greeted quickly, food very good. The appetizers are over priced for the portion size, but the pizza makes the stop worth it. We would go back when we pass through.

I have been going here for about twenty years. Now it is a family favorite. My wife and kids love to start with Garlic Cheese Bread. Your dinner comes with lettuce salad, cabbage, or cottage cheese. You can get Ranch, French, Thousand Island, or House Italian Vinaigrette. The salad is a basic lettuce, shredded carrots, and dressing salad. My wife usually... More

They are beyond rude on the phone. They are obnoxious and act put out every single time I call to order take out. Not occasionally but EVERY time! I'm never calling them again. There's enough other places in town to buy pizza.

I got the supreme pizza and my daughter had ravioli. Everything was pretty good, The waitress was very helpful and kept getting the kids kitty cocktails. My kids loved that and felt like big shots :) It was a nice dinner experience and not too bad on the price for quality food.

First walked place did not feel inviting nor warm. Once our server came to us, seemed to warm up and she supplied great service. Food was great, especially the pizza. Through lunch/dinner place felt more inviting and warm and as we checked out, staff seemed warm. Would for sure come back. Wish they would have been on Sunday, wanted to... More

Our waitress was extremely friendly and it was an inviting place. The pizza was amazing. We also enjoyed the meatballs.

Description
Been owned and operated by family generation to generation. Growing up in Dbq I went there a lot for the best broasted chicken, pizza, and lasagna in the area. Going back to Dubuque 30 years later the place has not changed one bit. Same atmosphere, ambiance, and great food at reasonable prices. A mom and pop place not found in tourist attraction brochures - only the locals know about this little gem.
