I have eaten lunch at Salsa's downtown many times in the years since it opened. The menu is broad but the quality of the food is always good; not greasy or overly spicy. Hot dishes are always hot, service is remarkably fast even when they are busy, and I always feel welcomed by the staff.

As the title says, Salsa's food is great considering the price. The sort of place I'd eat at regularly if I were a local.

Nice atmosphere with great wait staff! Had the fajitas for 2 and it was more than enough. The special sauce was light and well done. Not over powering. Yum!

I had a very good meal of Carnitas. Very well cooked, large portion and very tasty. I liked the service and felt very relaxed there. It was my second time visiting and both meals were good. Very well priced, and good if you want to make a lunch stop on the quicker side.

Walked down Main Street looking for Mexican, this place didn't pop up on reviews but found it and checked it out. Good chips and salsa and also margaritas. Casual spot and kid friendly.

We stopped in at Salsa's for a late lunch in the afternoon. We ordered a chicken dish that was very tasty. The chips were good and crisp, and they served the salsa in carafes so you could re-fill your dish when necessary. That was a nice touch. It is solid, good Mexican food.

We tried Salsa's for a late lunch today. Our server greeted us and seated us immediately and then brought out a basket of crisp tortilla chips and and a blended hot salsa. He refilled that as well as our beverages immediately when they ran out. There are two large rooms filled with tables and booths in addition to the long... More

Great food, location and service. The staff is very nice. They are efficient and move people in and out quickly but it's ok, it doesn't feel rushed. It is in downtown Dubuque in a beautiful location on Main Street.

My husband and I ventured in here on a whim and didn't quite know what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. Chips and salsa were complimentary--the chips were warm and the salsa came in this adorable cruet that for some reason really amused me. My husband ordered the chicken enchilada and I ordered the chicken chimichanga. Both meals were... More
