Good wraps and salads. Casual. Great place for lunch. Generous portions and good price. We loved it.

I came specifically for shawarma, having heard that some of the best comes from Lebanon. I got the chicken shawarma plate ($12) [Lunch] It came with a basic house salad, good rice, and 2 small pita slices. I was hoping for what I consider authentic shawarma; marinated meat, seasoned with aromatic spices, slow cooked on a vertical rotisserie. Their version... More

I had not been to Open Sesame in 5 or 6 years, but drove by and told the wife we need to stop in. She initially loved the atmosphere, small and quaint. The babaganoush to start was awesome. A terrific smokey flavor and the pitas were so fresh. Shawarma Chicken with lentil soup for me and a chicken gyro for... More

Great place for lunch if you're in the East Village - or close to the Capitol. Pita wraps and sampler plates. Fresh and quick. Not a very big place, but they're hoping to open a patio area in the Spring of 2017.

I didn't realize that Lebanese food was so similar to Greek foods, but that seemed what it was. They catered to all your needs and fantastic food.

The food is good. We had a sampling of the menu, and everything was tasty I give it a 4 star because the waitress kept interrupting us during our meal to chitchat. We did not go there to visit with her.

We had a large group and they handled us perfectly. We ordered family style - a bunch of dishes we all shared - everything was delicious and prepared really well. Prices were reasonable. The babaganoush and dolmades were outstanding

First time here was an excellent experience. Wonderful waitress, tasty food (I have the gyro platter) and very relaxing place to eat dinner.

Was staying on the east side of town and walked over to Open Sesame based on the reviews I read. It was an excellent restaurant, fairly priced, delicious food, friendly staff. It was quiet and only two other tables on a Tuesday night, but the food was quick and fresh. I had the gyro rice plate based on the server's... More
