From the outside this hotel/restaurant looks nothing. It's very dark and dreary and had I not read about it on Tripadvisor I probably wouldn't have gone in, but how glad I am that I did!! I was staying nearby with family and we popped down to book a table just an hour before we wanted to eat. Paulette the owner... More

My friend took us here on a recent trip to Aurignac. Back in the day, the restaurant had a Michelin star and hosted some famous French clientele. The restaurant was charming and traditional, slightly dated with the tablecloths and crockery but that added to the charm. We were seated outside on the terrace and in the beautiful weather, the views... More

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance. We had the most wonderful lunch of foie gras, homemade chutney, bread, beef and fish. The cheese course was very good and the wines were delicious. This is French dining as it should be. The service and hospitality were exemplary. Our hostess was simply charming and made us feel... The food was excellent a bit expensive. The building is situated inside a long row of old houses. The wine selection is good. The Lady hotelier very charming. It's dark and could do with a good lick of paint and fresh fabrics.

This was a great Sunday lunch. Good wine, good food and great service. Just how I love to eat French food, simple and full of flavours and not too heavy. Thoroughly recommend it.

We visited as a group of 8 friends and family (staying at Chateau d'Eoux) and enjoyed a great meal on the terrace in this retro restaurant (and especially the toilet decor...check it out!)...not to be taken as a criticism, it's part of the charm and experience! A very friendly welcome from Paulette and the staff with good service throughout. We... More

A wonderful luncheon experience for 18 euro each. A 3 course meal with the extra touches of warming soup and homemade chocolates. Fantastic service by Paulette in this quaint and homely village. Many thanks

My mother and I had our last meal of our holiday at this delightful hotel in Aurignac. Yes, its typically french with a retro feel, beautifully clean and loved by its owner Paulette. She made us welcome right from the first moment we stepped through the door. She knows her Champagne and suggested a perfect Chablis for our main meal.... More

Quirky but charming, its old fashioned decor doesn't detract from the quality of the welcome. The owner is helpful and attentive. We went on the spur of the moment and had a lovely time it was relaxing to sit on the terasse as the sun went down. The food was plentiful and tasty and well worth a visit.
